Despite the loss today, Illinois still has the inside track - and they have the wins over Iowa and Wisconsin. A Boiler upset next week, and then things could get interesting for the Iowa/Wisconsin winner as Illinois still has to play @ Michigan (who is getting a game from Rutgers so far at the half thanks in part to a blocked punt TD).

A lot of holes, but they're still afloat and have Wisconsin and Iowa left. Again unlikely right now, but Purdue could turn it into the Wild Wild West next week.

Unless we get some serious talent to transfer in on offense, with what we lose and with what we don't have, this was our best shot at winning the West. It'll be around for one more year, so again, we need some miracle transfers.
