Wisconsin on the road at NW, the starting QB is questionable due to concussion. Replacemrnt is an unused freshman. The NW defense is pretty good. Sorry for the injury, I hope thst he recovers quickly. If he misses the game, that really opens the West.

As a Purdue fan, we need NW to lose. Purdue still gets Wisconsin, at home, for a chance to hang a loss on them. NW has rebounded nicely from the loss of Larkin and Thorson looks like he is finally healthy.
NW plays at OMHR as well as Minn and Ill plus ND out of conferrnce. Iowa likely gets them. That is 2 losses in conference. They own the tie-breaker, so you are likely right. I think that we split Iowa/Wisconsin.

Hornibrook has been ruled out. With all due respect, I don't think he's very good anyway except for completing floaters to wide open tight ends. They game is based on Jonathan Taylor. As long as the backup is respectable, I don't think it changes all that much for their chances.
The NW defense is pretty good, especially against the run. They can now fill the box and make the new QB make plays. I considered this a tough game for W even before the injury. I will be surprised if W wins now.
