I thought Happ should have been fouled out 5 minutes before he finally was. Also, does he ever get called for traveling?
Obviously I disagree with you on who was hosed. Glad WI is gone, hate their style of play.
I liked Wisky this year. They were all toughness. Couldn't stand Kaminsky last year. Such a flopper and extremely annoying with his hype train. I thought this team was a lot easier to root for.
We must have been watching different games. They called 4 fouls on Happ the last 10 min. of the game and he only played about 6 of those minutes. 1 was on the loose ball, which was totally bogus and another on a changed call that said his foot was inside the charge line, which after watching 3 times, I'm still not convinced. They were mugging Wiscy most of the game without getting called.
Valentine on the last 30 seconds look liked he is on the take (along with the other 2). Hayes was mugged, the next possession it was goal tending as the backboard was hit and not called and Koenig was mugged on the last play.

I though Wisky was obviously fouled on both those steals at the end of the game...
Tough calls... Keoning lost the ball before contact though. Hayes was being lose with the ball. He didn't need to try to get through 3 guys.
23-19 at half time, no thanks. To each his own, but I'm glad they didn't advance.
Here is a thought for you: You are going to hate Happ as much as Kaminsky before his 4 years are over there. It was a nice story this year getting Dracula out and Gard seems like a good guy. But give it another year and they are going to be every bit as annoying as they were before, especially at the Kohl Center.
Totally agree on Happ. They are going to be a load in the B1G next year with everyone back.
BS Koening was half turned by Jackson grabbing his off arm at the bicep and then lost complete control when Jackson reached in across him while he was turned. If only the second part happened I would agree that there was no foul but it looks like in crunch time in a close game the refs are going to let anything go. Next thing we will see is some guy pulling out a black jack and hitting an opponent along side the head. What a travesty.
the one call they clearly missed was when Hill made that steal late in the 2nd half , he made the basket and Beachem came over Hill's body to try to block it but he hammered Hill and no call. You could see it on replay because they showed it from behind the glass..
There were a lot of missed calls that went notre dames way. I thought Hayes got fouled on both layups late in the game. The reversal of the offensive foul was questionable and then they call the offensive foul on Wisconsin on the other side for nearly same play. That is a 5 point swing as Wisconsin hit a 3 on that play that was wiped away. On the last steal Jackson took about 3 steps after he stole the ball stopped and was fouled. Should have been a travel.
