I'm on the fence on this issue. Could be a great #2 WR target for N.O. Can he accept that, not be a locker room issue, and be productive? Will be interesting if they sign him. I never paid too much attention to him in Dallas the last few years. Was he a locker room headache? Sounds like Dak & Dez didn't care for each other and Jerry Jones was no longer wanting Dez either.
Thoughts?

He is a good WR. My worry with him is possibly disrupting team chemistry, which they seem to have right now.

If he causes a problem, he’ll quickly find his personal belongings in a box next to his car.

Yeah, and this is mostly just wishful thinking, but sometimes a once-elite player needs a new environment to become elite again. I'm thinking Randy Moss and the Pats.

I thought Saints had the best offense in the league before this potential trade. They could have the best offense ever if they do get Dez.

How could defenses cover Dez, Thomas, Komara, AND Ginn? Seems almost impossible to ask when Brees is back there picking his poison.

He's lost speed and quickness and can't beat press coverage. Teams aren't lining up to sign him for those reasons.

Ginn is on IR I believe. If not he's out for a while. That's what necessitated this move.

I'm not crazy about it from a Saints perspective because of the baggage that comes with him. But one would have to think that Payton and Brees will be able to keep him in line. If he wants a job next year, he'll have to just play football for 7+ weeks.

Didn't know they signed him. Very surprised they did.

Had Dez (FA) late rounds of fantasy draft. Dropped him after week 6 when nobody appeared interested. Went back and picked him up again. Dude cost me $10 to add back into roster so I hope he is worth it. I'm thinking he'll take 2 weeks to produce some results. Week 11 before I see any results and only 3 more weeks after that.

Anyone remember Randy Moss having a couple of ok seasons at Oakland Raiders, then going to New England Patriots and Lighting it up? I’m hedging that Dez can do very well with Drew Brees and Sean Payton. Better than having to get a real job in our world.

As much as teams have to concentrate on Thomas and Brees' accuracy, Dez will make a lot of catches.

Dez could already be done after his second practice. He may have torn his ACL. These players sure seem to be made of glass.
