looking at some Cincy recruits, wonder if CJB will put out some feelers out there. There's Zenden Dellinger a big OL from FW Snider and a couple of other 3 stars from Ga. where Brohm likes to recruit from.

I'd like to see him nab IUs OL recruits. maybe some hard feelings after Wilson got unceremoniously canned.

Without question he should look over any situations where there has been a coaching change (except WKU imo) to check in on guys he may want. You can bet if other coaches decide they want one of our commits they will pursue it.

Other coaches have pursued our commits regardless of whether we had a coaching change.

How? He's not from here.

He cultivated it when Hope ignored it and IU was in the dumps. I met him when he was at UC. Engaging. He took some borderline players and got them through at UC. im sure that helped him with Indy coaches.

Being at OSU doesnt hurt.

Do you think he'd like West Lafeyette. Tic

Not sure the IU commits are going to be bothered by Wilson getting canned, it was pretty well established that he was a prick to begin with, so they probably liked the position coach/recruiters and that is why the committed and there isn't any turnover with those guys.

However, it may take the offensive approach from the game and the fact that Wilson was getting some good OL to the NFL off the table. I wouldn't be surprised if Brohm was able to get some inroads with recruits who may be unsure after a coaching change to take a hard second look at Purdue considering the offense that he likes to run.

Three words. "Early playing time". That will perk up any H.S. kids ears and hopes. There may be some young OL commits from either Baylor, Texas, Houston, USF, Cincinnati, or I.U. where changeover happened that may want a different opportunity to think about.

Come to think of it. Didn't Danny Hope pull back from USF due to personal reasons (family health issues)? One of the best O.L.'s in the country happened during his O.L. coaching days. Just saying...different Purdue Mgt team (President and A.D.), maybe coach Hope would be happy doing what he did best.?

Brohm said his focus was a 3hr window around WL (
Not sure that's entirely reflective of what Brohm said.

3 hrs radius, then southeast (Kentucky, Georgia, Florida). Also mentioned Texas.

I don't think his initial strategy is the same as Hazell's ...."state of Purdue" recruiting declaration when he first took the job. Brohm has recruiting connections in southeast and fully expect that to be a primary focus early on.....along with 3 hr window.

" Three Hour Radius " makes sense for WKU and U of Louisville. But Big Ten schools have the BTN and the family and friends of recruits can watch E*V*E*R*Y game their guy plays simply by turning on the TV. Can't do that if their kid goes to ACC or AAD or MAC or CUSA.

He's in the running for the uc job.

I'd hire him as co-dc

Looks like it's going to be Fickel....if agree...co-DC and DB or CB coach...be a huge need in recruiting and on the field

I see he's also the ST coach...maybe he's the "one of the best ST coaches" Brohm talked about on the radio. Assuming it's Levine though

Dellinger is taking an official visit to SDSU this weekend so he may be back on the market. I went to HS with his dad. Great family. I'd love to see him in gold and black.
