When playing I.U.? I would think that interviews will be completed, candidates narrowed and offer made between now and then.
Sumlin, Fleck and Miles are all 3 good candidates. Got to get one of the three if we are serious.

If you troll over to the ND forum, Kelly is as good as gone and the overwhelming favorite of the forum Irish fans is Fleck.

Which raises the question: Would we consider Brian Kelly if he becomes available?

Now that would be shocking news to both, I still think Kelly will get another year to fix it and the Adminstration recently said that Kelly would return for 2017 so.....

Why on earth do people on here think Purdue has a shot in hell to land Sumlin? Texas A&M was just in the final four playoff spot as of last week and you think Sumlin is considering Purdue and the situation in which the program is in? Batshit crazy!

There is one reason that Sumlin to Purdue isn't batshit crazy....the lower expectations at Purdue and the lower ceiling for success in the Big Ten West (and minimal media scrutiny) could mean a job with less b.s. to deal with.....and at some point, that's got to be attractive to a coach who is going to get paid several million dollars per year anywhere he goes.

in the SEC, you're only a few transferring players and losses away from being on the hot seat. Remember, before this season, the big story at TamU was that three stud QBs transferred out within a year. Of course, they will always have more money to pay him more, but if the job can go sour in an instant, it might not be a wise long term play to hang around.

All that + the Chancellor at T&AM was ready to move on from Kevin Sumlin back in December 2015. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ws-rumors-surrounding-texas-am-coachs-future#

Maybe Sumlin wants to coach where he played college ball, and with a big contract, he would be set for life.

I dont know if ND will dump Kelly, since they would owe him 24 million. They may still be paying off Charlie Weiss.

I doubt interviews take place until after the final game of the season
