IU has one difference maker and a handful of other solid players. That’s it. When Penix is on, he makes them much better than they are. When he’s off like today, they’re not any good, and the talent around him is very average. RevCoachLEO may be a tv preacher but, like those guys, he’s no miracle worker, and he’s not anything more than an average coach with a non stop motor and a goofy smile.
IU fans forget that their team talent is bottom half of the B1G. They honestly think they have a really talented roster, other than like 4 really good players and a bunch of average to below average players.

I guess I never expected anything different to happen. One season where they caught a bunch of breaks and many of their opponents took the season off didn't prove anything. This season is going to show exactly how far they've come and the first sample was not encouraging for them.

I think after yesterdays loss,IU is now 15 wins,20 losses in league games with Tom Allen as their coach.The Hoosiers have a four win,seven losses record vs BIG West foes and stand at 11 victories,13 losses against Eastern division teams.Without checking each record of the past five seasonsI believe that IU is 8 and 0 against Rutgers and Maryland and have one win over MSU,PSU and Michigan ,and they won against those three last year.
And we don’t have to hear from their stupid ass fans now at least for a week.. man I didn’t know their OL was that depleted and that Penix was in a leg brace and no longer Mobil

There literally is/was only one reason that it was important, and, that was to expose them for the fraud that they are despite them (and the clowns that cover them) relentlessly suggesting otherwise.
They were exposed by Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss JV team in their bowl game (the one that they were insulted to play in)...exposed again yesterday, and, they will be exposed multiple more times this season. OSU should never let off the gas this time just out of spite for the assertion that IU could/would have perhaps beat them a year ago...I hate OSU, but, I hope they beat IU by 50...and, that Gus Johnson is doing the game (since he labeled them the best threat to OSU in the B1G East).
