Carsen played 38 minutes against ball St. We were up by I think 17 points at one point. He will probably average 35 minutes in big ten play. 30 minutes in non conference. Why would you not have him in all the time? Arguably the best player in the league. This team isnt going to win by 25 every game going forward where it makes sense for him to sit.

Painter is kind of treating him like Keady did with the Big Dog, which is basically play him every minute he can, and for good reason. Is there really anyone we can trust to keep the offense alive and to a lesser degree Painter has to be somewhat aware that if Carsen pads some stats, that can't be all that bad. Getting Carsen to the NBA does help this program.
