Just tuned in to BTN and caught the end of third quarter, now 4 min left in the game...vs MSU .. they are playing really well, making MSU looks like we usually play... now up by 9 ?.?. Wow
Different team... where has this been all season?

Oops... maybe spoke too soon.. TO’s are back, in spades. Sigh...
Outscored 13 to 4 over final 4 minutes. The ladies did play(for the most part) better basketball today. Though all too often the offensive sets consist of dribbling around the top of the key and hoping someone can break open in or near the lane. Most often one and quite often both Purdue players on the wing never move or cut. Literally an opponent could play just 4 defenders and still stop the Purdue half court offense. Purdue's best chance to score is typically on a fast break/drive - if it comes down to half court offense we're in trouble.

Heartbreaking loss for the ladies. You have to feel for them. They played really hard. Just a few ill timed bad passes in the last few minutes.

On the bright side, the offense has looked much improved the last two games.

Kayana Traylor played like an All American with a career high 31 points. She also had 5 assists 3 steals and 4 rebounds playing all 40 minutes.

Unfortunately it doesn't get any easier. They play league leading and 9th ranked Maryland in Mackey on Thursday.

Agree, was pleasantly surprised myself when I turned the game back on mid 2nd half to find the Boilers competing. Regardless of what happens with the program leadership at season's end I'll continue to support these ladies and hope to see them play competitive basketball.
