I think AJ gets punished in the all conference voting for being a team first guy and taking relatively few shots versus the first team guys. I think as the surrounding cast continues to develop it makes it easier for him to get the ball in good position and as a result see more good shots.
I really hope he comes back next year, if he improves nearly as much from this year to next as he did between his junior and senior years he could be a legitimate AA and conference POY candidate. Continued development of shooters should make it harder to double team and if you slide a certain recruit in as a true four on the other block or high post, watch out.
