I think she was trying to appeal to the Hawks eh? Just stopped short of naming her nuclear targets. I find her amusing. I'll be honest, normally vote Dem, Told myself I'd watch more Rep coverage to expand my views and this is my 2nd debate. I have to be honest, I could see myself voting for Rand Paul. Agree with Trump on some things, especially how we blew it going into Iraq and we often arm the wrong sides in these wars.
Also learned: Big government bad, regulation bad, Republicans are for me the little guy?, politicians still tell folksy stories, if we don't have a humongous military we won't have an economy, even though several of Fox News polls mentioned Paul as doing quite well in the debate he's getting little coverage & thus I assume he's not their favorite. And finally, Fox News knows what us old white dudes like, pretty blondes

The lesson to be learned here is that if you own a burger joint, why would you hire a guy who doesn't like to flip burgers in the first place?

Pretty simple concept really.
You can like or dislike their policies and ideas that is your right. That was by far the best debate. Moderators stayed out of it, asked good questions, candidates got to sell their view points and stances, and there was some challenging back and forth. Even the left leaning CNN agreed it was good and there has been some talk of the setup for that debate being a template for future debates.

I thought Rubio had the best explanation for keeping minimum wage the same. He basically said higher wages will lead to your job being replaced by a computer or a machine in the 21st century.
Not that I like that, however, it is the reality.
And it is not just laborers and lower wage personnel that are facing this. A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist(CRNA) can easily make $150,000 per year or more. Responsible for anesthesia during operations. Well there are machines out there now with software code that is good enough to manage anesthesia during operations now. And we are not talking about just bread and butter or more basic operations. Hospitals/Researchers up in Boston think they have a machine that can do anesthesia for transplant operations sooner rather than later.
I am not sure anyone really knows how to go about solving this issue.
Yes, because if you raise the minimum wage for things like entry level jobs by a few bucks an hour, you'll have robots serving you your Whopper with cheese, checking you out at the convenience store, or the other myriad other service jobs that are primarily minimum wage jobs.
I don't thing raising wages has anything to do with the ongoing process of replacing people with computers. So Rubio is using some shaky reasoning with this pitch.

Certainly true that skilled positions are more threatened by it, and certainly manufacturing.
The one area that is least threatened by it, in a service-oriented economy, is most minimum wage jobs. It's certainly not an immediate threat that will be brought on by a minimum wage increase.
