There was a play on Sat night, believe it was 3rd qtr, where GRob, had a strip sack. On replay, it was clearly a fumble recovered by PU after the scrum.
But, the refs whistled the play dead.
Why was this not reviewed?
Can Brohm call for the review?
It was clearly a fumble and should have been PU ball.

I was thinking the same thing on that play. Same thing happened at Rutgers. We had an interception but it was called out and never reviewed.

Without hearing the press conference, I'm not sure if he gave any more info on the situation. Coaches do still get 1 challenge in the NCAA game provided they have a TO left to gamble with (Purdue did at the time). I'm not sure about being able to challenge that play: I might be confusing NFL & NCAA, but I thought the rule was they could review to look for a clear recovery even if it was prematurely blown dead.

A little later in the game, there was another play where the refs did stop play and do a review. Why then and not on the fumble?
