What would our upperclassmen be in this years class?

If Vince Edwards was dropped onto the free agent market and (still with just two years of eligibility left) was rated by recruiting services, what would he compare to this years freshmen?

Is Vince as a junior equivalent to a 5 star FR? A high 4 star that is borderline 5 star?

A 3 star?

Same with Haas, Dakota, Smotherman, and Cline. Sinply curious what you guys think even though i acknowledge this is a very stupid and impossible exercise.

I think you add a star of headroom each year out of respect for D1 playing experience, so the max stars for a junior like Vince is 7, and I'd say he's maybe 4 3/4 stars out of 7 or maybe as high as 5 1/2. Although... Maybe it works more like the old 6-point grading scale at Purdue... In actuality being a 4 point scale "+2". I know my 5.4 out of 6 sure sounded and felt better than 3.4 out of 4, despite there being no difference. I think if my hypothetical 7-star max is just the same 5-star max +2, then Vince is a sure fire 6-star player. Damn, THAT sounds awesome. Turn it up to 11!
