I won't disagree with you on Versyp, but don't you think it is odd that all 3 major sports hit rock bottom with a year of each other? ...That coaches who are well respected in their profession are struggling with winning during this period? ...That most of the problem appears to be talent/recruiting related in all 3 major sports?

The analytical mind in me thinks there is more to this story than just "fire the coach".

Looking at men's basketball, we now are getting good recruiting classes in, but only in the last 2 years. We are getting good WBB classes in, but only in the last 2 years. (Last year's class has not been able to get any traction despite being well ranked). We seem to be getting better MFB recruits, but the jury is still out on that sport.

This is a really odd pattern that speaks to a bigger issue than our coaches, that has only recently changed for the better. When I connect the dots, I don't see our coaches as the problem.

that our recruiting classes are any good. Certainly not in football where we are ranked near the bottom. Maybe women's b-ball but the results so far show otherwise. Regarding women's b-ball, we are not landing the McD AA's that used to be the norm for that sport.

Boys, I said the jury was still out in FB. No argument there. As for WBB, we have had two highly ranked classes, one this year and one next year. As you say, no AA's but several that were AA candidates. We didn't get any AA's in MBB either, but I think we would all agree that the recruits are looking pretty good.
