"Entire Body of Work"?
A) Every game counts
B) Non conference is a lot more important than conference season
C) Gardner Webb and North Florida
Usually when an analyst mentions "entire body of work" in regard to Purdue.....you know GW and North Florida are going to be the next words to come out of their mouths. Those are two relevant games.
If we are discussing "entire body of work" are these words also relevant?
1) BYU
2) NC State
3) Iowa
4) Ohio State
5) Indiana
6) Indiana
There is still opportunity for Purdue to add to that list of six. It would be interesting to know how many teams projected in the field right now.....have 6 or more wins against teams that are in the tournament based on their record (i.e removing wins against teams that are only in field because their conference gets an automatic bid.). I think many of these analysts would be surprised at the answer....if they took a little time to do some research.
Purdue fares better than they are being given credit for
