I'm damn excited to get this tournament started. Sure the Boilers have flaws and might not even get past Thursday, but there's also a reasonable chance this is a Final Four year.

That isn't the case all that often. I can't wait to see what happens.

For whatever it's worth, fivethirdeight (prediction company) gives Purdue the 9th best chance to win it all. Obviously above many higher seeds (but interestingly below Michigan St and Virginia).

When you play teams from outside your conference, teams you have never played before, teams with different styles of play, you can never tell for sure how the game will go. It does make it all the more exciting. Furthermore, these are young kids we are depending on in many cases. How will they soot? WIll they be attentive enough, quick enough? WIll they have good games? It becomes a crap-shoot of sorts. That is why there are upsets. These games often don't go as predicted. It is fun, but it makes me nervious for pur team!.

Me too! After getting to watch the Boilers play 3 games in a row on Fri, Sat, and Sun, I'm going crazy waiting for this game! One could even say that I'm starting to go mad!
