What have we done and what are we doing?

The closure of playgrounds from March thru summer 2020 was a very poor decision. In retrospect, there have been some brutal tradeoffs.

It was brutal on senior citizens... the ones who died, and the ones who did not. The loss of community support programs has been gigantic to seniors' wellness.

Hopefully, kids who've struggled can retake school years without stigma and with needed support systems. Doubt either will happen for most.

The fact that people didn’t know/or ignored it this early on is criminal. I posted very early in this about the number of studies available about little impact it transmission with kids and that they should be in school and people thought I was a flat-earther. Despite so many other first world nations having their kids in schools and many unmasked. You know how many kids are having developmental issues because they can’t see people’s expressions or see their teacher speak? And all with zero scientific evidence RE: masking. And yet it still continues. I remember people blasted posters who says it was ok to do outdoor travel sport last year as being careless. The science was available. It doesnt transmit outdoors. People warned about the illogical lockdowns and destructions on families, the drug overdoses, the depression and suicides. And we were idiots. The studies and data were there. So spare me the reflective Sunday morning round table because they are guilty as well for cheerleading this crap.
