What a great win that I didn't get to watch.

One more win to go to be bowl bound. Which if we're all HONEST a bowl was not on a lot of people's radar for this season so that would be a HUGE step in the right direction.

It sure isn't pretty and there are things to correct in the off-season for sure, but we are improving. Just maybe a tad slowly :D

I think with the schedule we had, especially with Oregon St being much better than expected, getting in a bowl this year is big.

Very good win, last weekends game it’s very frustrating. However, I don’t think Iowa is as bad as they have looked against us and now Wisconsin. Perhaps Wisconsin finally found themselves.
It’s funny everything that you can read into that dropped pass before halftime by Nebraska, how about the draft I NT on the first series for us? If he catches that he walks into the end zone and we start the game up 70It’s funny everything that you can read into that dropped pass before halftime by Nebraska, how about the dropped INT on Nebraska’s first series on offense? If he catches that he walks into the end zone and we start the game up 7-0. So I don’t want to hear anyone say “Nebraska drop lost this game…Purdue won this game!

and now it's time for an appropriate celebratory beverage......in a Frosted glass.

MSU will be ripe for a loss. We couldn’t be playing them a better time. It can happen.
On paper, Purdue should not have a chance...but, the same could be said for the game at Iowa, and, even in part yesterday.

It certainly sets up well for Purdue in terms of MSU coming off of an incredibly emotional win and them going to be talking about it all week and their potential inclusion in the Playoffs...there is going to be more talk about their game against OSU the week after Purdue even than there will be about the game at Purdue this week...so, it sets up well in that regard.

Getting Horvath back helps a ton...having some confidence after the win in Lincoln should help as well...bouncing back hopefully at home after last week should provide some extra incentive also...and, the knowledge that a win would make them bowl eligible should be enticing too.

It won't be easy by any means, but, it is there to be had and Purdue absolutely has a chance to post what would be a really impressive win.

I don't get to watch many Purdue games not having Big Ten coverage and ESPN, and now they've made it impossible to follow on radio for free. To make matters worse, Yahoo used to be good for following the games on the internet, but that has now gotten so bad that it's painful to try doing so. I'm looking forward to watching a Purdue victory on ABC this weekend!!! My Purdue flag will be flying proudly in Las Vegas! Do it, Boilers!!!!

Oh, and it would be great if Purdue plays in the Las Vegas Bowl, then I can finally actually attend a game.

internet radio isn't free? I moved to listening on terrestrial radio, because the internet feed was a few seconds too late (terrestrial is about 30 seconds ahead of the TV broadcast). I know that's not an option in Vegas...!

Earlier this season it was free, is why I ask.

I've searched and searched and haven't been able to find free internet radio. The normal internet radio that carries Purdue unfortunately is no longer free, although they try to mislead you into thinking it is free.

I find your comment about time delays in broadcasting to be interresting, as I have noted similar things. In the past, the internet (yahoo), the internet radio, and comments on the game thread here (I imagine from TV viewers) often didn't agree with some some being more in sync with the actual game than others, but not consistently which was more in real time. It's amazing to realize that the other media could take much more than a minute to catch up on the game's actual status. Watching the Iowa game on ABC I realized that the excessive commercials were never cut short to rejoin the game, which meant that some plays of the game were deliberately omitted or deliberately broadcast late.

I love the way next year sets up.. we go to penn state and then have three easier opponents in the non conference. We can be a very comfortable 3-1 even if we lose George and bell … a lot of players returning

With Indinia to play we got this.
Northwestern first and foremost .. against average opponents they have no offense. Think of the games we had vs Minnesota and Nebraska .. both those teams busted out the route on northwestern

I want future recruits to watch how bad we beat them … and for their fans to go full meltdown

The nits come to WL, probably with a new QB and maybe a new coach.

I agree. I was just razzing any Indinia fans that are lurking.

By the way the next time it doesn’t seem like it’s going great for Purdue.. think of northwestern fans.. as they are being routed thoroughly by teams we are very competitive with.. they are all in their board cheering for a senior backup QB named Marty to come in and be their savior lol

Right, but I think he wants out of the same div as osu. USC maybe.
He would have helped his cause by not losing to Illinois...never mind OSU and Iowa. Losing games like that is why USC is on to yet another search for a HC.

Google "The Varsity Network" and you'll get to the FREE Purdue radio broadcast. Been watching TV all season with the sound muted and listening to Tim Newton do his thing.

I'll give it another try next weekend (fortunately game on ABC TV), but it's Learfield which I have no past luck with. I don't believe however that I down loaded the App as before I never needed to, and for the Purdue game they wanted money.
