I'm sure that people like Klare/Heldt and others will be playing for other teams next year. So it will be worse that this year! Unless W is fired and replaced with a respectable coach

Klare will get paid to go play for a top program. Theinamen (sp) also. Mockabee should probably transfer. Edgerinn will go elsewhere.

Let them go. Most quit last night during a rivalry game. If anyone asks for more money to stay, tell them to hit the door.

I followed this train wreck of a season but somehow missed the adversity that sat in after the Nebraska game.....
What is Ryan Walters eluding to???

I was wondering the same thing. I thought maybe he was going to say Notre Dame, but he didn’t, he said Nebraska.

Maybe he was talking about the firing of Harrell? That’s all I can think of.

when you get beat 66-0, are there any "good" players?
I think there is some talent on the roster, it's just not being developed and put in a position to succeed. Problem is the defensive scheme the head coach refuses to change plays to our players' weaknesses and not their strengths. Lining Thieneman up 20-30 yards of the line of scrimmage every play makes zero sense. The offense is a mess, but I think there are a couple quality players on that side, Mockobee, Klare, Hartwig, Mbow. The right quarterback and a good offensive line makes a huge difference in today's game. We didn't have either. We had a couple pieces of an offensive line and a fraud at quarterback.

I don’t see how any player would want to play for Walters after this year. He is terrible at player evaluation and has no clue on making adjustments . He can talk all he wants, but talk means nothing, it’s what happens that matters
embarrassed. Theyve been embarrassed. They work hard year round to compete and they have nothing to show for it except all time records for losses and point margins. Im shocked we didnt see more issues on the sidelines. I fear purdue is caught with their pants down. I hope they didnt plan on offering up a new commitment to the program by getting an expensive oc to calm the masses. If so, they grossly underestimated what a horrible hire walters was and that the players and fans will leave in large numbers. He needs fired today. Bobo needs to talk to the players and what recruits we have left and give everyone a sense that purdue is committed to winning. I honestly feel bobo should have been let go during the season and wslters at the bye but something needs done with urgency now.

Mock has 2500 career rushing yards. There are probably other players on the roster who can be productive with better coaching.
Never been a big fan of Mock. Plays hard, gives his all, but still fumbles way too often, doesn't have a second gear, no homerun ability. Do any other B10 schools have a former walkon as their starting RB? Probably few other B10 teams he'd start for.

not arguing, but yesterday they pointed out that Mich's qb Warren is a former walkon and their one wr who made a nice catch

Mock looked good because he was the only rb Purdue actually had. Most other RBs that fumbled as much as he did would have been benched. One talks about mock having 2500 yards. That’s an average of 600 yards a season or about 60 yards a game. Is a 60 yard a game runner really that great?

Asking for a friend.

But again, he's a walk-on, which gives you an idea of the talent level. Add into the equation that he has a fumbling problem, and he's not a big loss. There are plenty of MAC or other experience RBs to get from the portal who would likely be an upgrade.

It all depends. Theres probably alot of guys that rushed for over 60 yards per game that couldnt have with the hand mock was dealt.
