Finally got Purdue's Bball career stats into my computer and just decided to look at a few things to see who leads in certain categories and other little things.
Thought I would share what I found that may or may not be common knowledge.
Purdue has had only 44 1000+ point scorers. Don't know about other programs but that just seems small to me concidering there has been 117 seasons and 287 players. AJ Hammons is the only active player to be among those 44 btw.
Another small group is the number of players that have averaged 10 or more points per game by the end of their Purdue careers. We have only 53 players to average that if you only round to the first decimal place. Doesn't really matter but just thought it seemed small.
Our all time Turn Over leader is Etwaun Moore. That really surprised me but I guess he probably had that ball in his hands more minutes than any other player in our schools history.
Our all time Foul leader is Brian Cardinal. He was such a pest on defense but didn't know he led us in fouls, always felt he was more careful but that just shows what time does.
One last weird thing is that we have only had 4 players in our history to average 4 assists per game or more by the end of their careers at Purdue. Seems like I am always hearing people on this board complain about how our point guards aren't averaging at least 4 apg and say they are garbage. Well, only 4 guys in our history have done that so...
That's pretty much the only weird things I found, everything else is pretty much what you would expect like JBC leading us in rebounds and blocks, Kramer in steals, Parkinson in assists, Mount in points and shots taken.
Enjoy this for what it is, just random info.
