Seems like this team was a pretty dynamic group early in the season, with various players stepping up and finding rhythm game to game. They were fun to watch.

We are at a point at the end of the year where we are playing flat, stagnant ball, shooting without momentum and ball movement and then having to resort to hoping Carsen can rescue everyone.

Haas is soft and doesn't have a beast mode level of play, and PJ has been easily replaceable with his dribble-dribble-hop routine. Will be tough to replace Dakota and sometimes Vince, but ready to turn the page, regardless of this tourney.

Just sad to see where this team is now, and where they were and should be.

Agreed. All the more reason why Nojel needs to play as much as possible.

he's already had an offensive rebound, a drive to the basket that led to a Haarms tip-in, and a drive that led to a nice floater by him.

Kid needs to keep playing big minutes if Purdue wants any chance at a Sweet 16, let alone an Elite 8.

Better now? Lol

We are dominating now and not playing well. I'm not too worried.
Not worried about THIS game because Cal Fullerton is not good. Boilers must regain earlier season mojo in order to reach ultimate goal- championship!!!

Congrats on the win against CSF I guess...I wasn't really talking about this game in my initial post, just a general observation from how the offense has looked day one up to today.

Go Boilers.

Yeah she should have married someone cooler who is over 4,800 posts in and counting on a basketball forum.

Go Boilers!

I agree, but just an observation on our overall offensive flow in general...could hurt us, maybe not today but could very soon.
I have to ask if you are a casual basketball fan. Basketball is a game of runs and ups and downs. Purdue's overall body of work is VERY impressive for the season. This team is built for a tourney run. I don't think coming out flat for one half or so of one random game or two a few weeks ago has anything to,do with how Purdue plays on Sunday. Vince was also injured by the way. It is funny how some point to a couple of relatively flat games when there were other games where Purdue was absolutely unstoppable. I wish folks would worry less and enjoy this awesome team with really great seniors who represent Purdue very well. This should be fun, right?

Boiler up!

I could say the same thing about some of our so called fans...but each to there own. Suggest you turn your tv and radio off if that’s the way you feel. It really is your loss....We started no more slowly than Michigan or OSU and finished sooo much stronger.

How about that defense against dribble penetration iso ball? Isn't that everyone was worried about coming into this game? How about that +13 rebounding advantage. Our weakness, right? No, let's complain about being a little rusty on our shots for about 17 minutes after a 10 day layoff.
