The fan base asked for changes but no one thought it would be the two assistants leaving. Balcolm seems a good hire but the new asst is coming in late on a veteran team. But Versyp prob knew this was pending and maybe knows who she wants?
At any rate with the talent and depth of this team the expectations have not changed nor the fact this is a pivotal season for this
program.

So this year we are not losing players, just assistant coaches. Sigh. Always some type of drama.

Absolutely appears as if they knew this was or could be coming before as her replacement was announced today.

No way to assess if this is a good hire, but he went straight to being the head of recruiting. I don't think there has been another male asst since Curry's husband?

Versyp came to Purdue with two male assistants. Martin Clapp and Jody Benner. Both had been with her at IU and Maine.
