Watching UCONN today, these were my expectations at Purdue.

UCONN is a basketball school, only had 15? years of being an FBS program. Edsall had a lot of 8-5 seasons in a place regarded in the middle of nowhere with a 40,000 seat stadium. Probably won 36% of games before Diaco. Went 2-10 first season. Are at 6-6 second season. Before you bag on schedule they play Navy, Houston, Missouri, BYU, USF, Temple. I think 6 Bowl teams. Granted Purdue played 10 but 2 were 5-7.

I see 2-10 to 6-6 as progress.

The type UConn has made, which can be seen with the naked eye, and the Hazell/Burke type of progress, which cannot.
