Wan'Dale Robinson Enters Transfer Portal

Lmao. He cares about the nfl.
Do you know him, or is that a racist assumption you seem to be making that all he cares about is the nfl?

Doesn't uk have an arena named after a racist kkk member? Corruppt Arena or something like that?

I'd honestly be surprised is he picks us....One of the reasons he left Nebraska is that is mom had covid and he wanted to be close to home....UK is very close to home and they were recruiting him to the end the first time around

If its a business decision, likely Purdue. To be as close to family as possible KY. Seems like he will entertain the draft either way after this year, but one would have to think Purdue has the blueprint to get him drafted as high as possible.

Its quite possible he was dead set on KY, but Brohm is making him take another hard look.

Again, rondale's production fell in half after his first season. Going to purdue just means the opposing defenses already have the blueprint to shut Wan'Dale (and his draft stock) down.

my thoughts are he didn't like playing RB at Nebraska. Purdue already has a stable of quality wide receivers. Tight Ends don't have to be blockers. Most of purdue's best TEs never threw a block in their lives. So you line him up where a normal TE would line up. and you let him run the routes a normal TE would run. Essentially, you allow him to be a receiver in the TE position. He's not going to run fly patterns. You have bell running the slot. So you allow him to run the shorter routes a TE would normally run. Basically, you get the ball in his hands and let him run with it.

That seems like a creative idea to me. You basically add another receiver and place him in the TE slot. I'll ask the question, who would you rather have running those TE routes? Our existing TE? or Robinson?

You can't just bring him to Purdue as a back-up. you have to have a plan on how to utilize his talents. he doesn't like being a RB. We already have bell. So that's my plan. if you have a better plan, I'm all ears. What's your plan as to how to utilize him?

I'm waiting.
You really don't watch or understand football do you? He is an APB. Build and playing style EXACTLY like Rondale. He is small. He is not a Tight End. Plus, David Bell is not a slot receiver. He would fit right into Rondale's role which works perfectly with Bell. Carr is still a wait-and-see but he is also built differently than both of them. Remember, you need multiple receivers in football.

RM had been figured out by big 10 defenses by his 3rd year. Plug WR into the same role and he's destined to fail.

You obviously don't watch much Purdue football, if you think "Big Ten Defenses "figured out" his game. He played in a total of 3 games this year and had 35 catches!

35 catches in 3 three B1G conference games...yeah right...they sure figured his game out. smh

Would love to have had him. Crazyqx83 breathes easier this afternoon knowing that IU will still be competitive.
By IU's bowl standards, we probably would have given them a good game even with our depleted roster & crappy defensive schemes.

I am assuming this is the running joke, since Robinson is a slot receiver.
No joke.

Since Wandale made the mistake of picking Kentuck, we will have to reverse engineer our trick play and list Durham as a slot receiver, but have him do non-sr stuff to confuse them.

CJB is a big fan of bonefish, so he will no doubt see this post and run with it. I hope he saves it for the dome and domers.
