Wait a Minute...I thought the Left said there was no border crisis?

doubtful fox news would include what this article has

" “Today’s numbers suggest that the administration’s chaotic approach to southern border security is actually encouraging illegal migration,” she said.

The department of homeland security's inspector general has similarly concluded that the Trump administrations' metering policy may have led to additional illegal border crossings."

Why is seemingly half of Guatemala leaving their country to come here illegally?

Not worth your time to respond. He'll just deflect and bring up something else like he did in his response to you.

So there is no spike in illegal border crossings? More people are trying to flood our country by way of Mexico?
why has the current government caused these increases in the last couple years?

on Dec 11, trump stated the border was secured and would remain that way.
you're saying he is failing?

Wha? How has the current administration caused this? Whether illegals crash a port of entry or some desolate stretch of land, they’re still illegal, right?

Why does the US have some of it’s citizens signing people up in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc., (as community organizers”) and putting them in caravans? This is Trump’s doing?

Why are US citizens providing food and water and legal aid to illegals PRIOR to them making it to the border? This is Trump’s doing?

To blame illegal immigration on Trump is misguided unless you want to argue that Trump’s strong economy is drawing them here.

AGAIN, these are quotes from the story you linked.

"Many of the migrants have been turning themselves in at Border Patrol stations hours away from major ports of entry, forced into the deserts by Trump administration policies that critics say has helped to create the crisis that the president is now using to justify an emergency declaration to build out walls and fences along the border."

"The Independent that the shift to non-points of entry suggested the Trump administration’s policy of metering — limits on the number of people who can claim asylum at a border checkpoint — and others have created circumstances that encourage illegal entry into the US." data-reactid="11">Sarah Pierce, a policy analyst at the Migration Policy Institute think tank in Washington, told The Independent that the shift to non-points of entry suggested the Trump administration’s policy of metering — limits on the number of people who can claim asylum at a border checkpoint — and others have created circumstances that encourage illegal entry into the US.

You've talked before about how Americans are creating these caravans but have never given any proof.

Central American families are primarily traveling to the U.S. to escape danger and poverty in their home countries. According to the Times, El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala have some of the highest homicide rates in the world, including widespread gang activity that can target civilians.

Maybe cutting all aid to Central American countries would solve the problem.
