It happened a few years ago, I don't watch much golf but tuned in to see a guy hit into the green as the group ahead was walking off, the ball hit one of the guys putter face and went into the hole. It was at least an eagle but may have been an ace on a par four. most incredible thing I've seen but can't remember the tournament or player (he wasn't a major). Googling has turned up zilch. The guys who's putter he hit didn't even realize it.

Andrew Magee made the ace at the short par-4 17th hole at TPC Scottsdale during the Phoenix Open. Magee's drive on the 332-yard hole actually ricocheted off the putter head of Tom Byrum, who was on the green at the risk-reward hole, before finding its way into the cup. No video exists of Magee's ball going in the hole.
