Is this considered a top class? Any idea of where these players are ranked?

Bardin is an underrated and phenomenal setter who touches 10’3 and is still growing. High ceiling according to Shondell. 4/5 star recruit.

Tindall is the #1 ranked player in Indiana and top 20 nationally. Shondell has been following her for a long time and has big goals for her. She’ll start early in January which is always good.

Morgan Williams was a late get for Purdue and comes from an area that isn’t super-heavy in volleyball talent (southern Alabama). She’ll also start early and get some quality experience. She has some work to put in, but is going to be good.

Aniya Warren is a VERY recent get for Purdue after she originally committed to IU. She was the U-19 Team USA team captain and the “icing on the cake” in the words of Shondell. #1 ranked libero recruit in the country. The staff is very high on her and thinks she’ll be an instant difference maker.

Mattea Casale is the final commit and comes from Florida.

Overall, the class is very good and has a lot of talent. Very strong class to build on for the future.

Lockport is in the state semifinals along with my alma mater (Benet Academy) this weekend. Sounds like they should meet in the finals.

Listened to Dig City. In addition to what you posted, CDS also mentioned that he may look for a grad transfer MB for next year.

Dig City is the best Purdue sports podcast going. Coach Shondell is a great listen, and the host guy is informed, thoughtful, and asks great questions. He manages the podcast with a good pace and rhythm.
I look forward to these each week.
(And only one very brief ad in the middle of the session. Love that).
