Hope Vince is more aggressive this year.

I'm not sure that he needs to be. Like Robbie Hummel, he does such a great job of letting the game come to him that he makes everyone around him better. I see Purdue having big scoring threats with Hammons, Haas, and Swanigan inside and hopefully Stephens outside. I see Edwards (as well as Mathias and, to a lesser degree, Davis) as the glue that holds it all together. Edwards is a talented scorer, but one of his greatest assets is his feel for the game.

Vince is a smooth player and really versatile. His defense should be better this year as most freshmen struggle with D in college. Also, reports from over the summer say he looks stronger and noticeably more athletic. He and Swanigan are the most unique guys we have in terms of versatility of skill set.
