Vince Edwards declares for the draft

Now that is just rude of Vince Edwards to do (tic).....doesn't he know he is going to give Nag an ulcer and make his head explode with all the scenarios now that could happen and how Coach Painter better have 5 stars lined up to fill the gaps or the sky is falling....oh my.

Get ready Nag......Haas may declare next.......someone get the emergency room ready.....

IMO, Biggie should go and Edwards and Haas should listen to what they are told and do what is best for them not Purdue.

I think they both would do better coming back for next year, then going, but I wish them well and hope they hear what they need to hear and if there time is now.....go go go!

Proud of all these young men and they will always be Purdue Proud!

I like the idea. Last year Biggie competed with these guys declaring for the draft. Biggie learned a lot about his game and how to improve it. And he did improve it. This looks like Edwards is doing the same. This could also help Edwards and Painter determine if he remains at SF, or if he moves back to PF. Although I see a lot of posters here projecting him to be our starter at PF, I believe his best position is SF, and he'd be a fool to go back to playing PF.

He was in it last year.

Biggie declared, Edwards declares and today I read Miller is already getting his claws into Albany's Langford and Phinisee here at McCutcheon. Painter needs to get busy.
Painter has been to a ton of Robert's games and has had him on campus for a number of i officials. Not much more you can do than that other than contacting the recruit directly (which we would have no idea the amount that takes place). CMP may chat with him multiple times a week....who knows?

I know Painter was at last years state finals in Indy but haven't seen him this season. I hope he's been at McCutcheon games and I just haven't seen him.

I see you struggle with reading comprehension or just like to troll. LOL
I can read proper english, however, you struggle at proper grammar/punctuation. So to be clear (and haha I'm a troll) and to correct whatever jumbled thoughts in your head - what does Miller and his recruiting have to do with Vince declaring? And again...Nothing.

I think the point is that regardless of whether VE leaves early or stays for his senior year, he will be gone before Langford and Phinisee can join the team. VE have no bearing on Painter's recruitment of these players.

It's painfully obvious you can't read and comprehend well. Your attempt to create my post into something it's not is clear. Making two points about the program does not mean the two opinions must be related. Biggie, Edwards and now Haas have declared. If they stay in, it will be challenging to replace that much talent. I kind of consider that some bad news.
And, then I read that Miller has already jumped on Langford and Phinisee and Robert as openly now said he's considering IU. I consider that also a potential problem if Miller lands a local kid right here in town.
Two current events that I thought I'd share in one post. I didn't say, imply nor mean for them to be tied together. Now that I've spoon fed this to you, you should be happy. M-kay?

M-kay. But since you made an accusation about reading comprehension, let's review your very clear and simple statement.

"Biggie declared, Edwards declares and today I read Miller is already getting his claws into Albany's Langford and Phinisee here at McCutcheon. Painter needs to get busy"

If those are meant to be two unrelated topics, as you say, then grade school grammar should have taught you not to include them in the same paragraph, much less in the same sentence. Don't blame the reader if your writing does not reflect your thoughts. Just sayin'.

Now, you're just right fighting. You're pulling shit out of your ass. They're only "Related" because I find them both potential bad news. Why don't the two of you just admit you don't like my opinion and just have your periods and get over it. Good?

Much like there is Modern Math which seems to ignore all the rules we learned years ago and arrives at different answers I believe his statement is an example of New English Grammer which allows one to make up rules as you go.

Someone is having a very bad week and taking it out on others.

Grade School English: F
Grade School Citizenship: F

A lot of people on other people's case this week !!! I can't believe how uptight people are with others' Grammar !! This is just a message board not a college English class!! I personally love the !!! It reminds me of Mr. Popper's happy feet dancing penguins!!!

For damn sure. Now, I guess, if you don't like an opinion and lack the capacity to counter it with something of substance....just ramble off on tangents and personal attacks instead.

In fact I agree with your opinions (there were 2, remember?), once you explained them and expressed them in a way that made sense. But when you blame readers for not comprehending your poor writing, you open yourself up to a little correction. I would also say that you also do not accept well-intended direction very well.

Just trying to help.
