Venn diagram of Irrational Nonsense

My favorite might be GMM, but he's not on the chart.
 
of all those I would remove the following

chiropractic. I don't think it's real, but I think it's just "un-crazy" enough to not belong on this diagram.
aromatherapy. I don't think it's real, but sometimes if a person is comforted by something which also does no harm, then there could be some therapeutic effect (placebo).


I guess with prayer et al, even as an agnostic, I don't feel comfortable labeling religious belief as "nonsense."
 
I am not terribly religious, but in the toughest times in my life, prayer and some semblance of faith have been comforting, even though I am largely a rationalist. Thus, I would never say prayer is irrational, nor would I ever fault anyone who prayed nor anyone who doesn't. Wishy washy. :)

whatever gets people through the tough times is no place for me to judge, so long as they don't try to expand it past that.
