It looks like Purdue is +1.5. I am not super excited about this game, but I certainly think we have a better chance of winning and we should win this game. I wonder if the line changes as it approaches tip time.

They know our recent history of shitting the bed in games that matter. This game matters.
Purdue is 16-9 vs the spread Michigan is 10-15. Purdue being under estimated, and Michigan over estimated is the season trend. These two season trends meeting, makes me question why someone would put money on Michigan for this game. Why wouldn't a gambler jump at Purdue taking the point?

Wow, that's a bit surprising. If it holds this will only be the third time all year we've been the underdog.
Michigan fans are degenerate gamblers! They must have got out there early. I see it is a pick em +0 now. I wouldn't touch this game except for maybe to take the over. The way Purdue played against Penn State was alarming. Hopefully this is a rebound game and they handle their dang business. Purdue can't let up yet. They need to ride momentum into the tournament if they want a good seed. I am glad to see the line moved as it got closer to game time.
The line on the IU game has IU at -3.5. That seems like the game to bet on. IU has been atrocious as of late. Might be an easy way to pick up some extra cash by taking NW. I guess if you are going to bet on the Purdue game you could throw the IU game on there as well to try and improve the winnings.
Not only that - Michigan is considered to be "in" right now, but it's not certain by any means. A win over Purdue would basically solidify their spot in the tourney as long as they just do ok the rest of the season.
We didn't deserve the win at MD. Didn't deserve the win at PSU. I go into this with low expectations...isn't that the Boilermaker way?
Purdue outscored both of those teams. That makes them deserving IMO.
Exactly - we need to get out of the funk we've been playing in or we WILL start deserving AND earning losses. Lately, we've just deserved them! ha
LOL!! It's not a complex theory. Score the most and you win. Teams that don't "deserve to win", never, ever, ever win. I don't care how poorly a team plays, if you outscore your opponent then you most certainly did deserve to win.
Now, today? I worry about his game. I've worried since we began discussing the remaining 5 games. This was the game I feared the most of any...and still do. I still think we're more likely to win at NW than at Mich.
IU didn't cover and Purdue/Michigan beat the over. If anybody took my suggestion on that parlay it was a pretty good lock. Shocked that IU won. I wonder if Purdue will be favored against NW next week.
Crazy game. Indiana went on a 22-0 run to end the half up 10. NW went on a big run to get a working lead most of the 2nd half....then choked away a 7pt lead in the last minute or so, including giving up the game-winning 3pt play to Bryant with 2 secs left.
NW has UM and Purdue at home next week. The Boilers better be ready, or this could be a really disappointing end to the regular season. Also, Lindsey is gradually working his way back in shape, although he gave up the can't happen foul at the end.
