I've said all year Vince and Dakota are our two most important players, and both have played really well lately. As they go...we go. Today, they combined for 11 pts on 4-18 shooting and 5 turnovers.

That said, Michigan is a rough matchup for us. Their bigs drag IH and Biggie out of the lane and we can't stay with their guards....and they play better D than they get credit for. I had a bad feeling about this game with their flight issues as well.

I say we are 5 seed.

The issue wasn't their bigs....if our players play to their averages, Purdue walks in this game by 10. Mathias and Cline both scored well below their averages (Mathias 10 and Cline 6). You get those 10 extra points...there you go.

Seemed like Vince got saddled with some tough fouls. His second foul was a joke and for years, when there's a loose ball and a guy goes to ground, you can pretty much tackle them and get the jumpball called. Not today for VE.

Man it was frustrating to watch. Vince needs to spend more time in the weight room, so many times he is close to the basket the ball gets swiped away.
