V played some of the best defense I have seen on court. That terrible 3-pt shooting stat we just posted was influenced strongly by V's defense. Give credit where credit is due. They are going to be tough for any team to play.

I was watching the MSU and Indiana highlights after the game. Most of the 3-pt shots made were fairly open looks. V did not allow any of that. They closed on our shooters and kept that lid on. They did a great job on defense. They just could not handle an aggressive AJ tonight.

I disagree slightly. The defense they played was really good but I counted 7 or 8 times where the ball was half way down and rolled out. We got good looks in the first half and second half. Just couldn't hit them.

Vandy was a tough team. I'm so proud of the toughness we showed. Great team win, and man, was Hammons a beast.

I thought one of the biggest plays in the game was when Stephens fouled on the breakaway. They ended up not scoring that possession and the momentum turned.

That was a good heads up play. Would rather have him catch fire at the arc though
