UW ready for fourth loss in a row

IF Rutgers plays like this more consistently, they could really do some damage. Fernandes unconscious from deep off the bench, and the occasional poor play/quick shot, but they worked the ball a lot more in the portion I saw. 10/17 from beyond the arc.

Omoruyi with 13/13 and 8 blocks. Bucky got taken to the woodshed @ Jersey Mikes, 78-56.

R did everything right. Looked like our Nebraska game.

Cliff Omoruyi had 13/13/8. Eight blocks! He has had 7 or more blocks 3 times this year. Over 200 blocks so far.

This Williams kid has been a nice addition for R coming off injury. Double figures in 3 straight games. Making R alot better. 18/5/7

Rutgers is the #2 defensive team in the country, per KenPom, and they are particularly tough at home. Even Purdue struggled to score there and Purdue has the #1 offense. I am not shocked that Wisconsin struggled today.

Rutgers saw the return Jeremiah Williams and Ogbole during the Michigan game. It's add depth and removed guys ( Palmquist and Woolfolk) who shouldn't be in the rotation. Fernandes started the season as the PG, but he's a catch and shoot guy. Fernandes is better coming off the bench. Williams has relieved him of those duties. Williams return has allowed Simpson to play free and drive more to the basket. Ogbole has size and enough ability to give Cliff Omoruyi rest, so he can be more effective.

Ill is about to lose at MSU too....openning up some room, especially after we rip IU a new b-hole today.

Wisconsin looks broken. What is crazy is how dependent they are on jumpers v anything in the paint.

They should get some relief when OSU comes to Madison on Tuesday.
You think? Thought that at Mich too…but they’re shooting like 26% from 3 the last 3 games. Did we break them? Or was it Penn state?
