USA Today All State Teams

Here's a highlight video of Bane from last summer. He might have a low release-point on his jumper, but I can't tell for sure. I'm sure his handles and D can use work and he should be able to improve in that area. He has good passing skills and uses both hands well to finish at the rim or make a quick hitter. He looks like he could play as a 2 or a 3 for sure after some putting in some more work:

There's a slight problem there. They didn't gave Romeo Langford on the first or second team. Delegitimizes it a bit, doesn't it?

probably

It's just a traditionalist way of favoring upperclassmen, but I agree.

I want to like Bane but I keep watching the videos of him and it just feels like the competition he is playing against in these highlight reels is really weak. Just my opinion

I agree....everyone is clamoring for Bane...but I just don't see it....It seems he has a quick first step...but doesn't seem fast....doesn't really elevate on his shots for being athletic....I think half those shots in the above video get swatted into the third row at the college level....Probably a solid player on a lower D1 school. Just my 2 cents.

I have seen Bane play twice, a 6 ft 5 inch guy who can handle the ball, has good hands, good passer, decent to good shot, I thought he was Purdue material, guess we will see what Painter thinks tomorrow.
