Going into one of the two biggest FB recruiting weekends in years, this is my updated Wish List. I think Purdue is going to have at least 12 scholarships to offer with over-signs, discipline issues, de-commits and attrition. So here it goes, in order of preference. Please feel free to share your thoughts.
1. Williams S Juco
2. Winfield CB 5th Year
3. Zico or Wright WR Juco
4. Palomeres OL Juco
5. Dillard OL 5th year
6. Harris DE HS
7. Payton WR HS
8. Johnson DT HS
9. Pierre or Jordan RB HS
10. Cummings or Owusu LB HS
11. Hendershott TE HS
12. Johnson DB or McDougle DT HS

A wish list and you left off Yeast and Moore with Mcdougle at the back of the list? They are longshots, I get it, but this is a wishlist. Yeast should be number 1. Would be the best athlete Purdue has gotten in years and is an instate player. Mcdougle already has the size to come in and start day 1 at DT, an area of great need. Moore would be an Oline starter day one. Purdue also needs linebackers in a bad way. We are going to be very thin there next year if we have any injuries. Add Yeast and then you can scratch off the other WRs on the list and grab more linemen/linebackers. Wishlists are fun though! Should be a fun thread.

I for one am sad we only have 5 scholarships. What if more want to join? I think we could use a talent upgrade everywhere!

I actually think there are 6 slots open now, plus two more from de-commits from Perry and Harris (or told to look elsewhere), plus Patterson and Roberts are still on the roster but I think both may be let go, plus Comery may take a medical waiver, plus there are a couple of 5th year guys who have not contributed (Miles, Green etc.) that may be told their time is up, plus there may be a few younger guys who are told to move on if their effort is lacking. Thus, I think Purdue could easily get to 12. I assume this is a moving target for Brohm. Once he locks down a player in a position of need, he assesses how to make the scholarship available.

Perry and Harris are still listed as commits. Perry is tiny, so I could see him not sticking around with the coaching staff showing him the writing on the wall. However, Harris is an intriguing WR prospect at 6'5. Obviously the coaching staff knows best and if he can't play then they don't want him. But they were still listed so I was just curious where that info was from. As far as the rest of your speculation, it all makes sense and could definitely happen.

In yesterdays Boiling Over, Brian stated he did not think either would be signed although he did say Brevin Harris may visit. We shall see.

I thought that Harris definitely was a 1/13/17 Purdue official visitor. Justin Harris could get big playing time immediately. This guy is a stud DE. If we get a fast 6'6" pass rusher it can help put pressure on the opponents QB. With us being able to pressure the QB, and a completely revamped secondary, we will have a completely different look on D. Defense has been our biggest concern, but I clearly see CJB has a plan to change our D on day 1. GO CJB! Keep bringing in the new players we need!

P.S- LSU has NOT offered and is interested in Harris as a TE not a DE. He prefers to play DE.

He was referring to Brevin Harris. Justin is visiting now, and would be a huge get.

With the de-commit of Hudson, I think Purdue can now add 13 players but you have to believe another one commit will be an OL.

It's at 7 available plus 3 oversign. If Harris and other move on, we obviously have more openings
