Update on Women's basketball TV-FYI

BTN+ simply said it was not scheduled yet. Called BB office and got the following note. Sounded hopeful. The first game is on:

Due to our contractual obligations with the Big Ten Network, we have to wait for BTN to assign our televised or online streams for games. As of now, the only game that has been assigned is the Nov. 29 tip against North Alabama, which will be on BTN+.



For the remainder of non-conference games, I would assume that they would be on BTN+, but I apologize that we cannot give a definitive answer at this time. The same would go for the conference schedule, whenever the Big Ten announces that.

Thanks Illiniboiler.

As you know, usually students broadcast the games but sometimes during student breaks they use video from the video board and stream Tim Newton's audio. I wonder, with the students not coming back after Thanksgiving (I believe that is the plan) until next semester I think, will that be what happens for the rest of this year? We will wait and see I guess.

Worst I can do is cancel if they don’t extend but prob they will.
Will be an interesting season with a lot of new players and tons of depth

I agree. It is a good deal especially if you watch other sports like volleyball, baseball, softball, and soccer - and I do. BTN and BTN Plus is starving for new content and I think they will add this in the new year.
