Sports gambling and NIL have ruined the sport and will eventually lead to two divisions:
• Haves - semi pro talent that play for money
• Have Nots - Kids that play for the love of the game

Why are we so concerned about competing? Can’t we just enjoy the game for what it is!

H-E-double hockey sticks NO!

The way NIL was implemented already feels gross. College sports have been badly tainted. Not a big fan of gambling, but I also don’t feel like it should be illegal. however, anybody with half a brain and a high school stat class knows that gambling is a tax on people bad at math. You might win once or twice, but extrapolate the probability of winning/expected ROI per transaction over a large enough sample size and every participant eventually becomes a loser. IMO It is wrong for governments and universities to run gambling operations, because in doing so they must willingly turned a blind eye to the negative consequences. Leave that stuff to the bookies and casinos and any other private parties who want to partake at their own expense, but the profits shouldn’t be publicly utilized due to the perverse incentives it creates for agencies relying on them to expand their operations - sometimes even with monopolistic protections.

I agree that college should be about becoming better citizens and getting an education. Very few athletes will make a living playing professional sports.

However, in today's society, there are multiple kids and families that make sports do or die. There are millions of fans like that too. Some kids will go to certain colleges, just because they are sports fans of that university.

Also, multiple universities get paid big donations because of successful sports programs. Without successful sports programs, some of those campus building in multiple colleges probably don't get built, at least by private donations. Maybe, they would get built with taxpayer money.

Whether it is right or not, we have to stay competitive in sports to benefit the university.

To be honest, I have never loved competition, so I always tried to not get involved in it. I like to play every game with pleasure, not with the thought to win someone. This is why, I like to play online gambling only in my free time on KingJohnnie Casino: https://kingjohnnie-casino.com/. It is for me a perfect break from the reality, especially from my problems which I am sick of. Good luck to everyone!
