If Walters isn’t fired tomorrow, well, I don’t know what it will take.
This entire year, culminating in an embarrassing loss to iu is unforgivable.

Walters has assured himself a place in Purdue history. If Walters isn’t fired tomorrow, well, I don’t know what it will take.

Totally agree. There's no way fathomable he's not fired by noon tmr.If Walters isn’t fired tomorrow, well, I don’t know what it will take.

It will take alot of non-renewals for season tickets. If Walters isn’t fired tomorrow, well, I don’t know what it will take.

If he’s not fired, I want to hear Bobos justification, because there simply is none.It will take alot of non-renewals for season tickets.
Why shouldnt bobo be fired as well. This historic failure was on his watch. If he’s not fired, I want to hear Bobos justification, because there simply is none.
I refuse to believe that the talent differential is as bad as what we saw this year.Offense generated 54 yards passing and 13 yards rushing. That is beyond ridiculous.
It's not...I refuse to believe that the talent differential is as bad as what we saw this year.
Well I don’t know what to tell you. The talent is pretty bad. They can’t block, tackle, kick a field goal, fumble holding for the field goal attempt, drop passes, etc. Defensive line gets blown off the ball, sacks are far and few, linebackers are non existent, and cornerbacks can’t cover. That’s what I’ve seen anyway.I refuse to believe that the talent differential is as bad as what we saw this year.
Um. What are they expecting will happen? It will take alot of non-renewals for season tickets.
The tackling is fixable. We need alot of lbs i agree.Well I don’t know what to tell you. The talent is pretty bad. WAZY caught up with coach after the game. "didn't see this coming. We had a good week of practice."What was this team doing all week? Either Walters knows he’s gone or something else. This was an absolute dumpster fire. There is no progress here.
I had a feeling we were going to get the 1-2 predictable combo. 1) bobo plans to retire soon and we want the next ad to be able to put his/her stamp on the program 2) we still believe in walters and are going to go get two awesome coordinators. However, today will make that sell a little tougher. I agree though...i thought walters showed his ass at the nd game. We looked completely unprepared. Everything was just humiliating especially the tackling.Frankly, he could've beaten IU tonight and he still deserved to be fired. I don't know why anyone thinks tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back.
I don't see it happening before Monday at the earliest. If PU doesn't pull out the checkbook for at least four million or more, plus at least three quarters of a million each for defensive and offensive coordinators, it's not worth it. It's time PU football FINALLY enters the real world with real talented hires. No more experiments and no more rec league coaches. Get a proven, experienced, and winning staff. And a lot of scholarships need to be revoked and not renewed for next year. Hire no one that isn't higher caliber.5pm tomorrow and new coach is announced
But Defense was Walters bread and butter…whoops he has no idea…The tackling is fixable. We need alot of lbs i agree.
Sky, what stood out to me was five 1st downs.Offense generated 54 yards passing and 13 yards rushing. That is beyond ridiculous.
How many games did it take for them to get that. I don’t have the stats handy? 😂Sky, what stood out to me was five 1st downs.
I listened to the wazy call of the game. These guys are chicken shit and won’t call out the coaching staff.WAZY caught up with coach after the game. "didn't see this coming. We had a good week of practice."
Coaching matters here. Conditioning matters here. Scheming matters here. Being sound in fundamentals can make up talent gaps when that talent isn’t as well coached as you.Well I don’t know what to tell you. The talent is pretty bad. We r getting 3 star guys same as iuWell I don’t know what to tell you. The talent is pretty bad. Well I guess we just disagree. I just don’t think anyone would have much success with the roster they had in place. Not all three star guys are equal. IU had a very experienced team with many four and five year players. They won’t have that next near and they will revert back to the mean.We r getting 3 star guys same as iu
I think they adjusted, but due to a lack of talent or strength things didn’t work out. As an example the ends continued to crash down the line as the tackles kept getting abused most of the time. They sold out trying to stop the run as the backers and tackles were a problem. This just made everything else vulnerable as nothing was being stopped.Coaching matters here. We are an average talented team with abysmal coaching. Literally 0 adjustments over 24 games of this staff being here. I can’t believe I watched this shit. I KNEW we were doomed from that Fresno game on. We certainly haven’t gotten any better!
But that was more schematic. With one exception our team was as talented as indiana on defense.I think they adjusted, but due to a lack of talent or strength things didn’t work out. They only had five tonight. I'm guessing Wabash could have had five. How many games did it take for them to get that. I don’t have the stats handy? 😂
It's historically bad for sure. I'm not sure it's lose 66-0 bad though. There's not a lot of heart to this team at this point. They told pretty quickly to adversity.Well I don’t know what to tell you. The talent is pretty bad. Iowa had 5 first downs and somehow beat Nebraska. I only mention that to remind people that selling one's soul to the devil is a real thing.Sky, what stood out to me was five 1st downs.
What decent coordinator would come?I had a feeling we were going to get the 1-2 predictable combo. 1) bobo plans to retire soon and we want the next ad to be able to put his/her stamp on the program 2) we still believe in walters and are going to go get two awesome coordinators. One who knows they will get a crack at head coach if Walters gets canned. What decent coordinator would come?
Yes, there are some serious talent gaps, especially at LB. I don't know if that's due to injuries, guys leaving, lack of recruiting or what. But that can be fixed in the portal. We r getting 3 star guys same as iu
How many of the iu starters (there were 17 of 22 new starters who they got through the portal/transfer) either came from a P4 program or came from JMU with Cig?Well I guess we just disagree. I just don’t think anyone would have much success with the roster they had in place. Not all three star guys are equal. IU had a very experienced team with many four and five year players. IU starting defensive tackle James Carpenter didn’t even get a James Madison offer. He was a James Madison walk-on for his first two years there. How many of the iu starters (there were 17 of 22 new starters who they got through the portal/transfer) either came from a P4 program or came from JMU with Cig?
How many of those JMU guys you think turned down P4 offers to play at JMU?
As much as I hate iu, and I do with every fiber of my being, they may have done Purdue 2 favors this season. It's historically bad for sure. I'm not sure it's lose 66-0 bad though. There's not a lot of heart to this team at this point. They told pretty quickly to adversity.
But yeah, has to be one of the slowest teams in school history, not just physically but mentally the decision making and reactions are really slow.
Problem at this point is recruiting. Walters has none. He's going to lose his best players to the portal. If you don't start over now, you'll be doing it next season, with worst players.
But I'll say again, starting over on the cheap again ain't going to change anything. If that's the plan for the second time in a row, then football doesn't matter at Purdue anymore anyways.
Probably no more than one. They are now older players with a coach that knows what is expected from them. Continuity means a lot to these teams. Painter has been able to do it thus far.How many of the iu starters (there were 17 of 22 new starters who they got through the portal/transfer) either came from a P4 program or came from JMU with Cig?
