Unforgivable.

I refuse to believe that the talent differential is as bad as what we saw this year.
Well I don’t know what to tell you. The talent is pretty bad. They can’t block, tackle, kick a field goal, fumble holding for the field goal attempt, drop passes, etc. Defensive line gets blown off the ball, sacks are far and few, linebackers are non existent, and cornerbacks can’t cover. That’s what I’ve seen anyway.

It’s officially time to cut ties and move on before the water gets any deeper!! The Boilermaker fan in me wanted to believe and see Walters succeed but that faith disappeared months ago. This coaching staff failed big time at so many levels and has turned the program into an embarrassment!

Frankly, he could've beaten IU tonight and he still deserved to be fired. I don't know why anyone thinks tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back.
I had a feeling we were going to get the 1-2 predictable combo. 1) bobo plans to retire soon and we want the next ad to be able to put his/her stamp on the program 2) we still believe in walters and are going to go get two awesome coordinators. However, today will make that sell a little tougher. I agree though...i thought walters showed his ass at the nd game. We looked completely unprepared. Everything was just humiliating especially the tackling.

5pm tomorrow and new coach is announced
I don't see it happening before Monday at the earliest. If PU doesn't pull out the checkbook for at least four million or more, plus at least three quarters of a million each for defensive and offensive coordinators, it's not worth it. It's time PU football FINALLY enters the real world with real talented hires. No more experiments and no more rec league coaches. Get a proven, experienced, and winning staff. And a lot of scholarships need to be revoked and not renewed for next year. Hire no one that isn't higher caliber.

And as I said with the Haze, and Walters, and yes even Brohm it's time for Purdue Alums to not be willing to settle. As for Bo, I'd help him pack his bags and put him in the passenger seat with Walters as they drive out of town.

Coaching matters here. Conditioning matters here. Scheming matters here. Being sound in fundamentals can make up talent gaps when that talent isn’t as well coached as you.

We are an average talented team with abysmal coaching. Literally 0 adjustments over 24 games of this staff being here. I can’t believe I watched this shit. I KNEW we were doomed from that Fresno game on. We certainly haven’t gotten any better!

We r getting 3 star guys same as iu

Well I guess we just disagree. I just don’t think anyone would have much success with the roster they had in place. Not all three star guys are equal. IU had a very experienced team with many four and five year players. They won’t have that next near and they will revert back to the mean.

I think they adjusted, but due to a lack of talent or strength things didn’t work out. As an example the ends continued to crash down the line as the tackles kept getting abused most of the time. They sold out trying to stop the run as the backers and tackles were a problem. This just made everything else vulnerable as nothing was being stopped.

But that was more schematic. With one exception our team was as talented as indiana on defense.

It's historically bad for sure. I'm not sure it's lose 66-0 bad though. There's not a lot of heart to this team at this point. They told pretty quickly to adversity.

But yeah, has to be one of the slowest teams in school history, not just physically but mentally the decision making and reactions are really slow.

Problem at this point is recruiting. Walters has none. He's going to lose his best players to the portal. If you don't start over now, you'll be doing it next season, with worst players.

But I'll say again, starting over on the cheap again ain't going to change anything. If that's the plan for the second time in a row, then football doesn't matter at Purdue anymore anyways.
