This is great. It completely ends their holier-than-thou attitude, all that complete crap about how Notre Dame does things the right way.

I heard Hollywood was planing to make a new Rudy movie,and in this one,He Dates Manti Teos girlfriend.
My favorite response to that was always "I didn't know Miami was a Catholic school."
The NCAA should have hammered UNC long ago, their grade cheating scandal goes all the way back to Dean!
Quite frankly, ND seemingly got off easy...vacating wins amounts to virtually nothing, and, they may not vacate them anyway.
UNC has no ground to stand on and should be hit far harder.
Does not take away from the fact that ND did indeed have more academic issues to go along with their other multitude of off-the-field problems during Kelly's time, in conjunction with those on-the-field as well...hard to see him lasting through all that has gone on now that he actually can't win games anymore either...the guy is pretty much an ass anyway on top of it, so despite his claiming absolutely zero culpability (never mind responsibility), it is yet another black mark on his record (literally) and time at ND.

They got rid of Lou when the Graduates were finally fed up with low academically performing football players he brought in that started having off the field issues despite the wins...Kelly will be next!
Long story short but in Lou's heyday the NCAA used to publish a by sport average SAT and ACT that i was able to see and the fact was Purdue's Football Teams had a higher SAT average score than ND back then!

If Miles brings in the OC and DC folks I have seen I would be happy with that, he will also need to get a key Recruiting Coordinator with Midwest roots if he plans on going after the top kids closer to Purdue!
Anyone catch Brian Kelly's reference to only about two players would be granted entrance into ND without their Special Admission Program for athletes? Exactly like the program Cheating Lou did back in his heyday! Once again the win at all costs has bit the Irish in the backsides and the high academic excellence and holier than though has been thrown out the door... they are no better than any other D1 program!
