Because he graduated from Florida and wants to pursue an MBA from one of the best Management schools in the nation?
He was injured this year and replaced by an underclassman who appears to be his replacement.

Not a big stretch but I wonder if he can/has played guard. Barron seems to be one of the two consistents the line has this year

It would be great if we could get him. He could be good role model / teacher for the rest of the O-line.
he would be the future trade consideration in the Appleby deal. Really, after reading the story about him, the mother of their adopted kid is from Ft. Wayne. Maybe that comes into play for the former 3 Star lineman.
Purdue is leaving no stone un-turned in looking for players in our positions of need as shown with this OL. CJB is such a clear difference maker. He wasn't lying when he said he would out work the other coaches.
When your roster was depleted like ours was, you know there are many players out there that can play for you. Nice to see that he's looking everywhere for them.

Would likely play guard at Purdue. Don't think you move Barron from Center.
