I didnt think realistically he was going to back after deccomiting. I think itnis a matter of does msu somehow find room for him, otherwise he probably commits to Purdue

I have heard Maryland is somehow in the mix but haven’t really heard much. Any details on that?

That’s possible, but you should see what his mom tweets about him and DePaul, DePaul’s coaches and players, etc.

I’ll be interested to hear what he thinks of Maryland. That’s an interesting situation with the two PGs ahead of him. He kinda says it himself in that article how he’s a “pass first guy looking to pass to shooters”.. he’s seen us play, he can get all the assists he wants here in West Lafayette. UCLA may be his more run and gun style, but they are slipping again as a program. This will be interesting to watch as Painter will obviously start going after other available ready to play PG targets.

I'm sure he realizes our 3 best shooters are graduating though. Next year's team doesn't project to be as good of a 3pt shooting team. They will be more athletic though.

Still will have guys like Cline and Carsen and Hunter Jr. Even so, team will be more athletic like ya said.

Just saw that with a visit to Maryland

UCLA and Maryland are tough competition, but still think Purdue has a good shot here. Sounds like his visit to Mackey made an impression and he thinks highly of Coach Painter. Plus, Purdue needs another PG to help Eastern next year and minutes are available.

His mama is the driving force on this recruitment.......Sometimes mama wants what is best for mama...I have no inside info but I would predict he ends up in Brentwood....just an educated guess...?

UCLA has a 5 Star playing PG now I thought, Jaylen Hands. Their fans were also getting restless with Alford.

UCLA has Hands (freshman) and Holliday (junior) in the point guard spot so snagging an ‘18 guy makes sense but probably not a huge priority. Also, UCLA is in on Courtney Ramey as they’ve had him officially visit. Also note that Bryan Penn Johnson has been looking at UCLA and I know him and Tyger are bros. Not sure if they are looking to play together but that could make it interesting. UCLA is in an interesting spot in recruiting.

according to that article, he seemed to give Purdue the most accolades.

The more i think about it I agree, he has to know the situation he’s got at Purdue. Kid is just weighing his options. Kid turns 17 this week, give him a chance. ;)
