BTN has proven to be very unpredictable regarding Purdue programing in Chicago, as I'm sure you know. Even with numerous 'Alternate' BTN channels conflicts still exist as 'Market tweaking' by BTN results in less than full-time Purdue coverage. Two recent football examples:
1) U of Ill preempts Purdue game when conflicted.
2) Northwestern preempts Purdue game when conflicted.
Conclusion: BTN does not guarantee coverage of ALL Big Ten games when Purdue is involved.
Purdue Sports Marketing is missing a huge opportunity in a once Purdue hotbed only 2 hours from W. Lafayette.
Gone are the days when Chicago's Otis Armstrong roamed the gridiron or or local Chicago star Aidan O'Connell could only be viewed on a premium package. Adding further insult, my brother living in California viewed both above games on his standard package broadcasts.

Wrigley Field was a good start with a great turnout of Purdue fans.
Next, let's schedule games in Soldiers Field every 4-5 years too and make Chicago "home turf" again. Recruiting locally needs to be a much higher priority. How many recruiters do we have in Chicago? Do meet & greets with Trevion Williams when available.
