Turn on Nebraska Wisky

Happ blocks a potential game winner, retains possession, then calls a timeout before they can foul him. What a play.

We may not win regular season now but I hope we play them again in BTT

The bad part is that we'll probably have to beat Maryland in DC to get to the championship game. We can do it but the road from the #1 seed is much easier this year.

I'd feel bad if in my people's history month Nike decided that only 20 of my people in the history of the planet were worth remembering on a shirt.

Whisky is like IU of last year in that they are benefitting from the unbalanced schedule to hold their BIG lead. Yes, they are a good team, but the combination of teams they play seem less challenging than those we play. Maybe the tail end of their schedule will catch up with them.

I can see some similarities in how the standings have gone, Mathboy, although I think Wisconsin is a little more balanced than Indiana last year, who could turn it up a notch offensively. Definitely favorable schedules, but credit both teams for making the most of it.....although Wisconsin has been really living on the edge lately.

Michigan State did end up with the highest NCAA seed from the conference last year, although it didn't help them much.

Interestingly, Lunardi has Wisconsin as a #4 right now (although their ranking would put them closer to a #2). Purdue is trending up, and I think Maryland has the other outside shot at a preferred seed. If things keep going the way they have been, Wisconsin and Purdue could end up with top-four seeds.

This is getting way ahead of ourselves, but how bout a 3/4 seed in the West, playing the first two rounds in Indianapolis for the Boilers?

Of course, over the next month, all of this could change dramatically. We shall see....

I don't know. Frankly when it comes down to it they've won all their games that they should and we lost a few we shouldn't. You can say that they've been pretty damn lucky to have pulled some of those out but I'm not sure if I'd blame the schedule.

They won at Nebraska. We didn't.
They won at Minnesota. We lost to them at home.
We dropped a game at Iowa. They haven't dropped a road game other than us.

I think they've just handled their business while we slipped a few times.

That's it. In a nutshell.
