Trivia Question Regarding NCAA Basketball Champions

If M$U wins the championship next weekend, they will end the season with an overall 29-11 record. They will be only the second NCAA champ not to win at least 30 games in their championship season in the last 27 years.

Can you name the team and the year (without Googling it) that this last happened?
