There he was standing in the back row for the Championship Trophy and I was assured a couple of years ago from the IU website faithful that Trey didn't want to be in the bright lights and that is why he went to Purdue. Course, I knew the "real" truth back then, but not much reason to enter into a basketball discussion with many IU fans since most haven't seen basketball for quite a few years.
FWIW...this quite simply is a TEAM where everyone contributes to the best of their ability and almost always only do what each is capable. What a joy to watch! Now, I was worried about Braden's first foul hurting Purdue, because it wasn't one he needed to make and when he picked up his second and went to the bench and when he picked up his third I thought it forced a few slightly out of their most comfortable positions and was just hopeful Purdue could maintain the lead until he could drive the train again. That said, the team has fighters and smart players where if all continue to play hard on D, Matt will keep playing some depth. Every single player contributes and it is hard to remember "IF" a Purdue team has played that hard with so much talent and depth of talent for sooooo many years!
