I swear, in many games, and particularly in this game, the refs make up their mind about a traveling call a second before they call it. Any time Isaac or Caleb does something a little awkward-looking, you can bet it'll be a travel. It's a coward's bail-out call--the refs bailing themselves out, I mean. After Isaac got a bogus travel call, Vermont traveled twice on the next play and neither was called because neither was the type the refs could anticipate.
That's not why it's a close game--they're playing well, and we're not. But the six or seven travel calls/missed calls haven't helped. I wish the refs' synapses would fire at a faster rate.
