#16TxA&M vs (Undefeated at 5-0) Penn St ESPN2 6pm
#23UCLA vs Wisconsin ESPN3 7:30pm
#22Baylor vs Creighton ESPN2 10pm
#13Notre Dame vs LSU ESPN 10:30pm

Darn, I wanted to see ND/Mich. :( Damn that LSU!
M. Wagner, C. Matthews (Ky transfer), & M. Abdur-Rahkman (seems like he's been there for 10 years) are monsters for Michigan.
If Penn St can beat A&M, they may be for real.....nah! :p
Marquette needs a big win. Let's go brother!
Will Wisconsin lose it's 3rd game, and fall to 2-3? o_O
Creighton is tough, as usual.

Thanks for posting these. As many who post here I love college basketball in general and it is nice to have a thread to post random thoughts on the best games of the day.

That Michigan loss really hurts their SOS. A win you play ND, now with the loss it is Chaminade. Talk about a huge trade off.

That would be great if Penn State can pull it off. I like Chambers and he always seems to step on the banana peel right at the cusp of a program breakthrough win.

I think Penn State can keep it close. They defend well and have good enough athletes at all 5 positions to hang for awhile. A&M is probably underrated at #16 so it will be a tough game for them though. What an opportunity for an early measuring stick game for PSU.

Key will be Watkins staying out of foul trouble and if Garner and Carr can get hot on offense. Watkins is good enough to give A&M bigs some problems with his D.

Iowa down 3 at halftime to South Dakota State

I think PSU has a decent chance. I'm not sure if Texas A&M is all that great. They are getting a lot of mileage out of their beatdown of WVU, but I'm starting to think that WVU isn't all that great.

Us, Michigan State, & Minnesota are going to be the only big 10 teams in the tournament. What a letdown these asses have been in the non conference. We'll have a crap seed again even if we win the big 10 unless we win Atlantis

Not so sure, A&M made PSU look like a high school team at times last night. They are Long and very athletic. They were using the pick and role finishing with a dunk. 10-12 Times in the second half alone.

If Purdue wants a one two or three seed in the NCAA tournament they're going to have to win these early matchups against the good teams. Because the Big Ten has three college teams in it with a bunch of high school teams.

never saw the game, but if teams pick and roll and finish with a dunk...I'm sure the defensive team's coach is furious..unless of course his team's preparation was so bad as a result of him that he didn't notice.

I watched the 2nd half. Personally, I don't see what all the hoopla is with PSU's coach. I've never been impressed. His kids play hard- but they are always very undisciplined. That game was NO different. It went from a tie game to a 15pt deficit in a matter of about 5-7 minutes. Pick and roll defense giving up alley oop dunks or the PG driving all the way to the hoop for a layup... on offense it was 7 minutes straight of 1v1 hero ball. Just absolutely ZERO offense being run whatsoever. He finally called a timeout after the score ballooned to 12-13 points.

After the timeout they started to press and forced some turnovers because A&M is not a very good team either (low discipline) and made the score close again. It was like watching AAU ball.

Against the press... A&M was throwing high, loopy passes over the top like you see in little league girls bball games. PSU guards were picking them off and turned it into a layup drill. I literally saw 5 myself. The A&M coach never called timeout to change strategy, or get after his kids for bonehead passes- he looked shell shocked. Just brutal coaching on both ends.
