I’ll go ahead and state the obvious

• The Boilers look like Rashida Tlaib’s "defund the Purdue FB team" has taken effect.
• We’re attempting to defend an offense that looks like the Keystone cops on steroids.
• The receiving corps is missing more players than a Hoosier basketball fan is missing teeth.
• We’re playing in a hostile environment. On TV it sounds like an away game.
• We are missing TWO All-Americans (I’ll keep my opinion on that out of this post).
• We aren’t Ohio $tate or the Elephants, when we have a missing player, we can’t simply plug in another 4 or 5 star player.
• We’re defending the Keystone Cops with a depleted and battered defense.
• During the game, we have several players who get injured or who are obviously playing injured.
• We see numbered jerseys on the field, that we’ve never seen before.

Yet through all that adversity, you found a way to win.

To our coaches and players, congratulations! We couldn’t be more proud of this team than if you’d won the national championship!
